In 1998 (?), John Law &#38; Scott Beale brought Santacon to NYC.  The lovely Barbara Fried showed up at my front door in bells to stay for a few days.  There were a couple dozen Santas in all perhaps.  Not hundreds like there are today.  You go Santa.]]></description>
